Dear Newmark Families,

Welcome to Newmark High School, Home of the Panthers! My name is Heather Sandoval Feng, principal of Newmark High School. I began my career in education as a teacher at Newmark from 2006-2019 and I am so excited to be given the opportunity to return to our school community to work together for the benefit of our students.

Everything at Newmark revolves around our motto: Reclaiming Futures, Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Dreams. We believe that through personalized support, our students will grow academically and socially to become high school graduates who are ready for the world. Our students come to us with amazing talents. It is my promise to you that your children will find the support they need at Newmark to foster their dreams into becoming realities.

My vision for our school is to provide our students with a wide range of experiences connecting their past with their present to create a better future. This includes increasing learning opportunities with the support of programs such as the District’s Cultural Arts Passport and tutoring options, expanding intervention support to improve grade-level proficiency, and providing social-emotional learning opportunities to develop positive lifelong habits in all our students.
