By reclaiming futures, restoring hope, and rebuilding dreams, the Newmark administration, faculty, and staff collaborate to reconsider educational approaches in support of learners becoming confident students and capable graduates prepared to make positive contributions to the global community.
Our mission is to facilitate student learning which leads to high school graduation and career/college readiness by helping students realize their potential. Through immersion in a nurturing and challenging environment, students grow academically, socially, and personally as such to make positive life choices. Together: students, parents, families, teachers, administrators, and staff, work to build a community premised on the success of every student. Given this collective dedication, each individual student is prepared to meet the demands for success in the 21st Century while gaining a sense of belonging in the world.

At Newmark Continuation High School, we welcome students who need an alternative educational setting for a variety of reasons. Whether it's due to falling behind in credits, health reasons, or other personal circumstances, our program is designed to support students become college and career ready as they prepare for the rest of their lives. Students learn the importance of making positive choices to lead them to academic and personal success. Newmark provides all its students with a supportive, rigorous learning environment where students graduate ready for the world.
What makes Newmark different? Our small, personalized campus creates a special environment that feels warm, nurturing, and professional. Our dedicated staff tirelessly works hard to create a school climate that emphasizes the value of connecting with our students as individuals full of limitless possibilities. Courses focus on curriculum that fosters innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Throughout the day, students participate in teacher-led direct instruction as well as self-paced online coursework. Students also have access to full-time school counseling and mental health services to ensure the needs of the whole child are being met.
Beyond the classroom, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extra-curriucular activities. Teachers sponsor clubs to provide students with experiences beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to be leaders on campus as part of our student leadership program where their voices are valued as partners in their education. In addition to our on campus activities, our partnerships with local community organizations allow students to also participate in after school internships.
Students interested in attending our school begin the process by contacting our school. Once all paperwork is received, prospective new students and their parent/guardian are required to attend a pre-enrollment orientation with the principal.
